A friend asked me if we can make works mixed press photos and photography art. He told me that he was denied by our teachers. And I wonder, if the deny is true, what I’m doing should be?
Also he told me that he didn’t know much knowledge of theories and history of art.On the other hand,boss told me they’re so important. She said thus; Many of the photographers in Japan are doing without any theories or knowledge,just tech persons. Under these soil,any new art won’t appear. On 26th Dec., I visit an exhibition in Kichijoji, Tokyo. I don’t know if their pics are those “new arts”. I neither know what should be called thus. Anyway we all people doing photography must read some papers. keenly sense that also should write some theory. We have to know many things.
